PRESIDENT’S PERCEPTIONS

BY AUXILIARY PRESIDENT JUANITA M. RANGEL

Every 3rd Wednesday at 7:00 PM is Family Pot Luck Dinners. At these dinners, raffles are held for gifts & prices. The money raised goes to our troops, we buy & mail them: books, socks, band-aids, wipes, batteries and other essentials. Also, we help & support The Fisher House, Youth & Education & Girls State. At Christmas we help stock the VA Hospital Gift Shop. Each year our Auxiliary donates hundreds of dollars toward all these organizations. Some of our Auxiliary members make personal donations, which has helped pay for stamps, gas, and gift cards of $20.

Gift cards go to the spouse/families visiting their loved ones at the VA Hospital. Please join us June 18, 2008 for a Patriotic Family Pot Luck Dinner.

“Mark your calendar, Sept. 14, 2008: 1 – 5 PM for the Cancer Research Fiesta, 1 – 5 PM. Luminara Services 4 – 5 PM. “

Thank you and as always GOD Bless each & everyone

Juanita M. Rangel
